Pfizer forecasts COVID-19 vaccine sales of $36 billion as it ups earnings view
Pfizer Inc. shares PFE, -0.23% jumped 2.5% in premarket trade Tuesday, after the company beat earnings estimates for the third quarter and raised guidance, boosted by strong sales of its COVID-19 vaccine, Comirnaty. The company posted net income of $8.146 billion, or $1.42 a share, for the quarter, up from $1.469 billion, or 26 cents a share, in the year-earlier period.
