In a Sunday advisory, Petron Corp. said it will hike LPG prices by P0.85 per kilogram and AutoLPG prices by P0.48 per liter in May following the rollback implemented by oil firms this month.
The adjustments will take effect at 6 a. m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2023. Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the month., cutting LPG prices by as much as P9.20 per kilogram.
Latest data available from the Department of Energy show that household LPG prices in Metro Manila ranged from P934.00 to P1,118.00 per 11-kilogram cylinder as of February 1, 2023.
