Weather conditions were horrible on Saturday, but Penn State fans braved the elements.
Penn State routed UMass Saturday, 63-0 on a rainy Homecoming at Beaver Stadium. The Nittany Lions used a suffocating defense to make quick work of the Minutemen. PSU logged 7 sacks and 14 tackles for loss in a dominating performance. Defensive end Adissa Isaac led the way with 2.5 sacks while Chop Robinson and defensive back Cam Miller added 2 each.
Offensively, Penn State quarterback Drew Allar went 16/23 for an efficient 162 yards and 3 touchdowns. All three scores went to tight ends with Theo Johnson getting 2 and Tyler Warren one. Penn State will travel to Columbus next Saturday to take on Ohio State in a much-anticipated matchup of top 10 teams.
