Peng Shuai met with IOC President Thomas Bach in-person for the first time since a sexual-assault allegation against a Chinese official appeared on her social-media account

BEIJING—Chinese tennis player Peng Shuai met with International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach in Beijing, in his first face-to-face meeting with the Chinese athlete since an allegation appeared on her Chinese social-media account saying a senior Chinese official had coerced her into having sex with him.

The IOC said Monday that Mr. Bach and Kirsty Coventry, an IOC member from Zimbabwe, had met with Ms. Peng on Saturday over dinner at the Olympic Club in Beijing, where they talked about their Olympic experiences.
