A man was seriously injured Wednesday night when he was struck by a car crossing a city street in Passaic County, authorities said. The man, whose name was not released, was in the crosswalk on State Street in Passaic when he was hit shortly before midnight, according to Mayor Hector Lora.The man was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center with injuries that were considered life-threatening. His condition was not immediately available Thursday morning.
