As the deadline for the filing and payment of the 2022 Annual Income Tax Return (AITR) approaches, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) has reminded the public to maximize the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)'s 'File and Pay Anywhere' setup.

The deadline for the filing and payment of the 2022 AITR remains on April 17, 2023.Taxpayers could file and pay for their 2022 AITR in any authorized agent bank without facing penalties.

BIR Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. has clarified that the deadline for the filing and payment of the 2022 AITR remains on April 17, 2023.
