It's been a week since the Eraserheads' Huling El Bimbo reunion concert but we are so not over it.the band and their collaborators have been sharing about the monumental show that attracted an estimated crowd od 75,000.
The latest? The concert director Paolo Valenciano's revelation that it was Ely Buendia who put forward the idea of of performing with Gary V. Sharing photos from the show and rehearsals, the concert director began his caption with a dialogue that we quote verbatim below:According to Paolo, "they wanted to do 'Christmas Party' plus a Gary V song," adding Gary V. was a dream collab for the band.
The director shared hearing some people say it was "a missed opportunity" that Gary V. stopped the "Christmas Party" and didn't perform any more songs with The Eraserheads at the concert. But he countered: "For me, if people paid to watch the 'heads, then it should be about them. Dad agreed."
