[PANOORIN] Confidential funds, pambayad sa EJK victims?

Hinihimok ang pamahalaan na gamitin ang pinagsamang P650 milyong confidential funds ni Bise Presidente at Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte para pondohan ang nasabing reparation program

MANILA, Philippines – Bigyan ng danyos o reparation ang mga biktima ng extrajudicial killings sa ilalim ni dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, iyan ang naging panawagan ng kowalisyong Tindig Pilipinas.ni Bise Presidente at Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte para sa 2024 upang pondohan ang nasabing reparation program.

Binigay ng kowalisyon ang nasabing rekomendasyon noong September 19 – dalawang araw bago ang ika-51 taong komemorasyon ng deklarasyon ng Martial Law. Tulad ng ilan sa mga pamilya ng Martial Law victims, dapat daw makatanggap ng tulong pinansyal ang mga pamilya ng EJK victims, ayon sa grupo. Nais din nila na makapagtayo ang pamahalaan ng isang EJK truth commission na siyang magsisiwalat, mag-iimbestiga, at magdodokumento ng mga karumal-dumal na pagpaslang na naganap sa ilalim ni Duterte.
