Aspiring vice president Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan is ready to accept any task related to agriculture if running mate Vice President Leni Robredo wins the presidency.
Responding to a query from the media in Cagayan De Oro on Wednesday, May 4, if he will lead the Department of Agriculture if Robredo wins, Pangilinan said it would still be up to Robredo. But he will be ready to accept whatever agency it would be.
Pangilinan is an advocate for the agriculture and fisheries sectors and is pushing for national food security in a bid to end hunger. His campaign slogan revolves around these agendas— “Hello pagkain, goodbye gutom.”
