Palma sa mga sumosunod sa Archdiocese sa Sugbo nga supakon ang pagpasar sa Divorce Bill .Sa usa ka sulat nga gipagawas niadtong Sabado, Hunyo 29, 2024, si Palma niingon nga samtang ang Simbahan nag-ila sa kamatuoran nga dunay dili na matakdo nga kasungian sa kaminyuon, apan ang simbahan nagpabilin nga lig-on nga ang “divorce is not the solution.
