In a statement, the Manila International Airport Authority said the system has been partially restored at around 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, which resulted in authorities allowing limited flight operations. This was confirmed by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines which said it has already started accepting flights into the NAIA.The aircraft landed at 4:55 p.m. and parked at Bay 36 of NAIA Terminal 2.
Thousands of passengers were affected after the CAAP was forced to put on hold flights to and from Manila due to technical glitch it monitored in its air navigation system at the NAIA.
