The LPA, currently over the coastal waters of Polillo Islands, is moving west-northwestward at 10 kilometers per hour.
It is expected to trigger rain in Central Luzon, Metro Manila, and Calabarzon , said state meteorologists. “Under these conditions, isolated flashfloods and rain-induced landslides remains possible, especially in areas that are highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards as identified in hazard maps and in localities that experienced considerable amounts of rainfall for the past several days,” said Pagasa.
