The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), Shear Line, and Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will bring scattered rains and thunderstorms to various parts of the Philippines. Areas including Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan, and portions of Luzon may experience moderate to heavy rains, raising the possibility of flash floods and landslides.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone will be affecting Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan, the Shear Line will affect the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon while the Northeast Monsoon will affect the rest of Northern Luzon, PAGASA reported.Visayas, Mindanao, Romblon, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains .
Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and Ilocos Norte will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.The rest of Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
