Weather bureau PAGASA said that Severe Tropical Storm PaengPH, which passed over Laguna de Bay, Metro Manila, Rizal, and Bulacan on Saturday evening, is expected to leave mainland Luzon in the next six to 12 hours.
PAGASA said heavy to intense with at times torrential rains will prevail over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, and the northern portion of mainland Quezon until Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, mainland Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro Provinces, and the northern portion of mainland Quezon will experience moderate to heavy with at times intense rains for the rest of Sunday. A marine gale warning remains in effect over the seaboards of Luzon and Visayas and the eastern seaboard of Mindanao under the influence of the surge of the Northeast Monsoon and Paeng.
