MANNY PACQUIAO gave the Japanese people a great exhibition fight treat that they truly deserve when he fought a tall kickboxer Rukiya Anpo in a thrilling three-round exhibition bout on Sunday evening before the 37,000 screaming fans at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

Pacquiao wasn’t the quickest but apparently the smartest in the bout as he countered Anpo’s assault in the later round. Both fighters engaged toe-to-toe from the start up to the final bell with no winner and loser was declared after the contest.There was a time when Pacquiao had a hard time penetrating the Japanese’s jabs but landed enough counters to make the fight look interesting.

Anpo, who holds a 27-8-1 win-loss-draw record with 14 knockouts, expressed gratitude to the former senator and boxing living legend for fighting him despite the 12 inches height different with Pacquiao standing 5-foot-5.
