Montour County-based Geisinger Health has agreed to become the first health system to join a new, national system created by California-based Kaiser Foundation Hospitals.
The new venture, Risant Health, is a nonprofit health system designed to “to improve the health of communities, achieve better health care outcomes, and improve health care affordability,” according to a joint news release from Geisinger and Kaiser.
