AN 18-year-old man is arrested after a kilo of suspected shabu worth P6.8 million was seized from his possession in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pahina-Central, Cebu City on Friday night.
Richie Naval Olorvida was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas and personnel of the Cebu City Police Office Intelligence Unit and Station 5.Alcantara said it took a month of surveillance before the young drug suspect was cornered.
She added that further investigation will be conducted to identify the possible cohorts of the suspect. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect, Alcantara said.
