The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said that food and non-food assistance worth P32.9 million was given to families affected by the ongoing unrest at Mayon Volcano. | ManilaBulletin

According to the DSWD-Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center report as of June 13, of the P32.9 million aid, P31.3 million was provided by DSWD, P20,000 from local government units, P973,720 from non-government organizations, and P693,802 from DSWD’s other partners.

Approximately 4,415 families or 15,493 people are currently seeking temporary shelter in the province’s 22 evacuation centers. DSWD said it has a P147.68 million quick response fund at the DSWD Central Office, P5 million at DSWD-Field Office V, P67.8 million in other DSWD field offices, which may support the relief efforts in Mayon Volcano-affected areas.
