LUCENA CITY — Police seized on Monday more than P205,000 worth of shabu from three alleged drug traffickers in Rodriguez town in Rizal province.
In a report on May 16, the Region 4A police said cops and anti-illegal drugs unit members collared around 2:30 p.m. Angelito Purificacion after he sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Geronimo. Authorities confiscated from Purificacion 10 sachets of shabu weighing 25 grams and a mobile phone containing a list of his supposed drug transactions.Five hours later, the same police team nabbed at 7:10 p.m. Jericho Destrajo and Jester Reyes in another buy-bust operation in the same village.The report tagged Purificacion and Destrajo as included on the police drug watch list as a high-value individual while Reyes was classified as a street-level pusher.
The suspects were detained and are facing a formal complaint of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
