LUCENA CITY––Police collared five drug suspects and seized over P161,000 worth of “shabu” during separate buy-bust operations on Thursday, May 12 in Cavite and this city.
The Calabarzon police said in a report that anti-illegal drug operatives from Dasmariñas City in Cavite busted the group of Rudy Yuson, Benito Tilaon, Edison Labarda, and Ericson Castillo after they allegedly sold at 5 p.m. a sachet of meth to an undercover cop in Barangay San Simon.Authorities confiscated five sachets of shabu weighing 20 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P136,000.
In Lucena City, Lt. Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, city police chief, reported that anti-narcotics agents nabbed Rodolfo Ariate Jr. in another drug sting at 9:39 p.m. in Kanlurang Mayao.
