At a televised public briefing, the DSWD official said the agency has sufficient supply of food packs with 76,518 boxes currently stockpiled in its warehouse in Pasay City and 21,806 standby food packs in the Visayas Disaster Resource Center.There are at least 65 evacuation centers in Regions 5, 9, 10 and CARAGA, he added.

"Ang malaking problema po natin — sa datos po ng inyong DSWD — nasa 5,729 na po ang damaged houses natin. [Of these,] 1,242 ay totally damaged, 4,487 ay partially damaged," Lopez said.A total of 523,991 people or 121,950 families were affected in Cagayan, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga, Northern Mindanao, Davao, Soccsksargen, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
