MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Vice President on Friday said it provided aid for victims of successive earthquakes in Davao de Oro towns.According to the OVP, it distributed 424 and 628 boxes containing relief items to residents of the Municipality of Maragusan and in New Bataan town, respectively. Each “Relief Box” has mosquito nets, hygiene and dental kits, slippers, masks, and disinfectant alcohol, according to a Facebook post of Vice President Sara Durterte.

The series of earthquakes that rocked Davao de Oro province in the last two days sent at least 362 families out of their homes, according to the provincial disaster risk and management office.
