CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two men accused of selling fentanyl that led to an overdose death are now facing multiple criminal counts after being indicted by a federal grand jury. Willie A. Pratt, 33, and Darryl L. Roberts, 31, both of Cleveland, were arrested in November 2021 by police in Rocky River, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio. Each has been charged with multiple counts of distributing fentanyl that led to an overdose death.
Prosecutors say the victim, identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office as a 42-year-old Olmsted Township man, died on Oct. 31, 2021, at a residence in Rocky River of an overdose involving a cocaine and fentanyl mixture.
