Oscar Isaac to star in The Great Machine film adaptation of Ex Machina comics
You can see now why Legendary Pictures, which recently acquired the movie rights to the comics, chose a different name for the feature.
, the comics, featuring work from artist Tony Harris, centered around Mitchell Hundred, a former superhero who went by the name The Great Machine and bore the power to speak with machines. Hundred runs for New York City mayor in the aftermath of 9/11. Isaac will now star as the character in the film. So, in a roundabout way, fans hoping he would play a superhero in a movie will kind of get their wish.
