Oriental Mindoro Gov. Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor condemned the murder of national athlete and Southeast Asian Games multi-medalist Mervin Guarte on Monday, Jan. 6.

“Hustisya para kay Mervin Guarte! Kinokondena ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang sinapit ni Mervin Guarte. Hindi matitinag ang aming panawagan para sa katarungan, at patuloy naming hinahangad na mapanagot ang mga responsable sa krimeng ito ,” Dolor added.Dolor said he has ordered Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office chief Police Col. Edison Revita to identify and apprehend Guarte’s assailant and serve justice to his family.
