Following three losing seasons in a row, the Oregon State Beavers' men's basketball team is off to a very promising start. Wayne Tinkle's group are up to 7-2 on the season, with wins in each of their last three contests. OSU's two losses came by a total of just six points."I'm proud that we're able to learn some lessons but but still still get a double-figure win at home," Tinkle said of their most recent result.
Forward Michael Rataj is leading the way in points per game , rebounds per game , and blocks per game . Meanwhile, guard DaMarco Minor leads the team in assists and steals . The Beavers face a Sacramento State squad on Tuesday night that has managed only two wins this season. The Hornets have only one win over a Division I opponent this year and have lost each of their last four contests. That contest will be OSU's last before heading to the Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii, where they will open the tournament against the College of Charleston.
