MIGRANT Workers Secretary Susan Ople is set to be cremated on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.
Based on the schedule provided by the Department of Migrant Workers , Ople’s remains are set to be brought back to Heritage Memorial Park for cremation and inurnment at 1 p.m. Prior to the cremation and inurnment, there will be a requiem Mass presided by Fr. Jerry Orbos for Ople at the DMW head office in Mandaluyong City at 9 a.m.The public viewing at the DMW head office will provide the department’s personnel, overseas Filipino workers, and Philippine recruitment agencies the chance to pay their respects to Ople.Prior to her death, Ople was known as a longtime advocate of OFWs.
