Opinion: Will San Diego prove it's a sports town with arrival of an MLS team? San Diegans weigh in. [Opinion]
San Diego is looking for public guidance to identify and prioritize repairs and future needs at Balboa Park, the iconic 1,200-acre home to 21 different cultural institutions, 17 specialized gardens and dozens of other attractions, including the San Diego Zoo.This unique regional environment that we live in ensures future growth and success for the club. I look forward to becoming a season ticket holder. I will support and cheer on our newest home team with vigor and passion.
And the venue? Snapdragon Stadium is a travesty. No shade portends heat stroke for young and old alike. Soccer will work in this town because people love soccer and want to be loyal to a team that makes an effort to entertain to the best of their players’ ability.
