The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced open house and dedication dates for the Red Cliffs Utah Temple in St. George.
They said President Henry B. Eyring, Second Counselor in the First Presidency, will dedicate the temple in two sessions on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
According to a press release, the dedicatory sessions at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. will be broadcast to all units in the Red Cliffs Utah Temple district.A public open house for the temple will take place Tuesday, Jan. 30 through Saturday, March 2, 2024, excluding Sundays. Church President Russell M. Nelson first announced the Red Cliffs Utah Temple in October 2018, and construction began in November 2020.
This will become the second temple in St. George and the 29th temple in the state that is in operation, under construction, or announced.
