La Casita Coffee is open now, serving croissants and espresso. And brunch and tiki-themed cocktails are on the way.
Coffee and books: They just go together. La Casita Coffee opened this week at the flagship Half Price Books in Dallas.
La Casita, a croissant shop and brunch restaurant that started in Richardson, opened Aug. 20, 2024, in the former Black Forest Coffee. La Casita Coffee sells espressos, matcha drinks and the pastries it’s become locally famous for: croissants, cruffins, muffins and the like. La Casita is known for its classic croissants, which are made at the company's commissary in Richardson. Now that La Casita Coffee is open in Dallas, co-owner Maricsa Trejo said the shop will expand to other parts of Dallas-Fort Worth.
La Casita Coffee is at 5801 E. Northwest Highway , Dallas. It’s open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week.
