with a lot of drama, Christian Siriano's Fall/Winter 2020 collection was a showcase of heavy-metal glamour from silk, sequin, and rhinestone-adorned dresses to brocade, leather, and velvet separates and sculptural gowns that were full-on works of art.
To offset much of the high-octane drama, several '90s-style slips and suits made their mark, while ruched leather stilettos stood out in the accessory department, both in bright colors and neutral tones. The second half of the show is where the serious drama kicked in. Highly conceptual gowns with architectural shapes, severe lines, and dazzling embellishments took to the runway, all destined for a major red carpet moment.
