The sophomore joined Katherine Zenick, Teresa Ivan and Amy Fulmer on the 200 freestyle relay , teamed with Zenick, Ivan and Heather Bach on the 200 medley relay and joined Bach, Zenick and Fulmer on the 400 medley relay .“I’m so blessed to race these girls beside me,” Funderburke told the Big Ten Network after winning the 100 back. “I just wanted to focus on my underwater this race. I know that’s my specialty, and I know those girls are good at it, too.
Lawrence Funderburke, a 1994 Ohio State graduate, is currently an assistant boys basketball coach at Worthington Christian.
