Ohio State continues to tease the possibility of wearing gray uniforms against Michigan State, offering a first glimpse of the new threads on social media Monday.
The Buckeyes are expected to debut the new uniforms when they play the Spartans under the lights at Ohio Stadium in a 7:30 p.m. game that will be televised by NBC. The new gray alternate uniforms are different from the “Land of the Wolves” uniforms Ohio State wore in 2017 – the last time the Buckeyes wore gray jerseys – against Penn State in a game that immediately went into Ohio State lore when J.T.
Ohio State has typically worn an alternate uniform for one of its marquee home games each year in recent history. Ohio State wore all-black uniforms for its 2022 home game against Wisconsin, having previously worn those uniforms against Penn State in 2015, Nebraska in 2018 and Michigan State in 2019.
