The Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol is trying to use a legal procedure called an initiated statute to fully legalize marijuana in Ohio for people 21 and older. The process involves collecting the 132,887 signatures to send the proposed law change to the legislature. If the legislature fails to act within a set amount of time, the group can then collect another 132,887 signatures to send the law change to voters for approval.
