The man's 10-year-old daughter brought cannabis gummies to a Columbus-area elementary school and shared them with four other students during lunch period. Five students were hospitalized.
Scott Macre, 44, is scheduled to be sentenced on June 14 after he pleaded guilty to inducing panic, obstruction, and a misdemeanor drug possession charge. A charge of endangering children was changed to inducing panic, WCMH reports.
Police said Macre’s 10-year-old daughter brought cannabis gummies to Windermere Elementary School on April 22 and shared them with four other students during lunch period. Five students were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital after showing “signs of impairment, nausea, hallucinations, and elevated heart rates.”Reports say Macre attempted to get rid of the gummies down a garbage disposal when they came to his home while investigating the incident.
