OMCPI Chairman Michael Raymond R. Aragon reacted to the statement of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during his recent speech in the United States addressing the influential Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington before leaving for London to attend the coronation of King Charles.

“To advance our common climate agenda…energy and green metals cooperation is an important piece of our engagement and must be prioritized,” Marcos was quoted as saying. “Our country is so blessed with these critical green minerals that humanity crucially needs in our clean energy transition to fight climate change and save mankind from species extinction,” he added.
