The Stand was first published 45 years ago, in 1978. It sees a virus wipe out a large swathe of humanity, with the remainder eventually drawn into a war between the forces of Good and Evil. It was adapted into a mini-series in 1994 starring Gary Sinise, Molly Ringwald, and Rob Lowe. It was then given another one in 2020 starring Alexander Skarsgard, Whoopi Goldberg, and James Marsden.‘Shudder has revealed the Creepshow television series’ Holiday Specials are getting a limited edition retro VHS release.
