Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. We pledge to Partner2Prevent human trafficking & work to improve the lives of all vulnerable populations across the U.S. by strengthening efforts through collaboration& collective action.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will host the National Human Trafficking Prevention Summit on August 3-4, 2023, bringing together partners from diverse sectors to exchange information and promising practices on human trafficking prevention. HHS will also release the National Human Trafficking Prevention Framework, marking a formal call to action to strengthen the Nation’s prevention efforts.

Plenary sessions and select workshops will be livestreamed and recorded throughout the Summit via HHS Live Streaming.OTIP has published its annual report for fiscal year 2021, highlighting efforts to prevent and protect individuals who have experienced human trafficking.OTIP is seeking applicants for new funding opportunities designed to enhance assistance for survivors of human trafficking and strengthen prevention education.
