Oak Grove Fire: Wildfire continues to burn in San Marcos

DEVELOPING STORY: Officials say a wildfire is burning in San Marcos and is estimated to be about 70 acres.

The fire is estimated to be about 300 acres and is 10% contained as of about 9 p.m. on August 5.

The fire has reportedly now jumped across the Blanco River and is now actively burning on the north side.Texas A&M Forest Service says that forward progression has stopped and dozers continue work along the right flank of the fire while hand crews work along the left flank.
