The would-be kidnapper tried to get hold of the 7-year-old on Wyckoff Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Friday, cops said. She had been waiting with her 36-year-old mother when the stranger “came running by and attempted to physically grab the child,” according to police.The man — caught on surveillance footage stumbling down the street and falling into a table and chairs on the sidewalk — headed north toward Flushing Avenue.Cops described the man as having a light complexion, slim build and black mustache and beard.
