Nutanix Inc.’s NTNX, +0.94% stock soared more than 18% after quarterly revenue and earnings surpassed analyst estimates, and fiscal first-quarter sales guidance blew past forecasts. The company also announced the repurchase of up to $350 million in stock.
Shares of Dell Technologies Inc. DELL, +0.99% rallied 9% after the tech company beat Wall Street expectations for its fiscal second quarter and said AI is already showing a “long-term tailwind.” Lululemon Athletica LULU, +1.20% reported same-stores sales that missed expectations, but the yoga-themed apparel maker bumped its full-year forecast higher. Shares were up nearly 3%.Shares of PagerDuty Inc. PD, +0.43% initially rose then fell more than 6% despite a 19% improvement in year-over-year quarterly sales.
Broadcom Inc.‘s stock AVGO, +3.43% was down more than 4% after the chip and software company merely met expectations with its quarterly revenue forecast. Tesla Inc. stock TSLA, +0.46% slipped 0.7% after the EV maker announced fresh price cuts for its Model S and Model X cars in China, two weeks after having lowered prices on those premium vehicles.
