The expanded number coding scheme in Metro Manila is suspended from Thursday, October 31, to Friday, November 1, in observation of All Saints’ Day and All Souls Day, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced.“Suspendido ang pagpapatupad ng Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program o number coding scheme sa Oktubre 31, Huwebes, upang bigyang-daan ang mga bibiyahe sa paggunita ng #Undas at long weekend,” MMDA said in an advisory.
Meanwhile, the Makati City will also suspend its number coding scheme on Thursday starting at 12:00 p.m. in line with the suspension of work in government.Some local government units in Metro Manila have announced road closures and reblocking for Undas 2024. Malacañang has suspended work in government offices and classes at all levels from noon onwards on October 31, 2024, to allow employees to travel to and from the provinces to observe Undas. All Saints’ Day on Nov.
