Suns team owner Mat Ishbia, Nuggets' Nikola Jokic have friendly exchange, embrace before Game 5
Ishbia wound up with the ball and Jokic ripped it out of his hands. Jokic then extended his arm into Ishbia, who fell back into his seat. The ball squirted out toward another fan a few rows back.
Jokic was calling for the ball while reaching over fans that further heightened the situation. The fan threw the ball at Jokic, but Okogie intercepted it as security made their way to the scene.Great win for the Suns last night in an amazing series so far! That should be and is the only story. Suspending or fining anyone over last nights incident would not be right. I have alot of respect for Jokic and don’t want to see anything like that. Excited for game 5! Go Suns!Nuggets coach Michael Malone was asked about Jokic being fined after saying he didn’t care Ishbia was the one who had the exchange with Jokic following Game 4.
"I'm not even going to speak on it," Malone said."It's old news now. We're getting ready for a Game 5 in front of the best fans in the world. That's where my whole attention is right now."
