North Texas’ last-known dollar theater — Cinemark Hollywood USA Movies 15 in Garland — has shut its doors for good after nearly three decades of business., saying that it’s “normal course of business and the result of the careful and ongoing review of our theatre fleet.” The 15-screen theater opened its doors on S. Shiloh Road near the LBJ Freeway in Garland in September 1992.
