The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has yet to monitor passenger congestion at the terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) amid the anticipated exodus of travelers for Holy Week.

The Manila International Airport Authority did not monitor passenger congestion at the terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Wednesday despite the anticipated exodus of travelers for Holy Week.

According to Ian Cruz’s report on "24 Oras", the MIAA is expecting a 15% increase to around 100,000 daily passengers arriving and departing at NAIA in light of the long holiday break. While there is no buildup, the agency still advised travelers to arrive at the airport hours ahead of their flight schedule.

"We’ve been recording very good on-time performances. In fact, two days ago we recorded around 91% on-time. Yesterday, 87%, and today so far the flights are doing very well," said MIAA Assistant General Manager Bryan Co. The Department of Transportation and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines conducted an inspection at the Philippine Management Center to ensure smooth flight operations for Holy Week.
