The local government unit in Malay, Aklan reminded the public that partying and playing loud music on Good Friday in Boracay is prohibited.
"No parties and activities with loud music must be permitted from 6:00AM of Good Friday until 6:00AM of Black Saturday ," Malay Vice Mayor Niño Carlos Cawaling wrote in a memorandum order addressed to the Business Permits and Licensing Office.
In his memorandum order, Cawaling directed the said office not to issue special permits for the conduct of parties in Boracay on Good Friday, according to a report on Unang Balita on Tuesday.
