It’s been six months since the Bel-Air estate owned by Osama bin Laden’s brother, Ibrahim bin Laden, was listed for $28 million.
And so far, despite its prime location — within walking distance from the famed Hotel Bel-Air — there have been no takers.
Any potential buyers will not only have to plunk down a hefty amount for the home but millions more for renovations. Ibrahim, the half-brother of Osama, is one of 56 children born to Saudi Arabian construction tycoon Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden, who had 22 wives. Mohammed served as the patriarch of the multibillionaire bin Laden clan — a family with longstanding business ties to Al Saud royals.
