Seventy-seven incidents in the eight focus crimes were recorded in the period compared to 99 in the previous year, a decrease of 22.22 percent. Among the crimes that showed a remarkable decrease include physical injuries , rape , and carnapping . “I commend the men and women of PRO Mimaropa in their relentless effort to maintain peace and order region-wide in this Yuletide season. Let us maintain this vigor throughout the New Year’s celebration,” Hernia said.
