Gov. Mike DeWine has not said he will take any action against the head of the Ohio National Guard for arguing with and pushing a reporter who was arrested soon afterward at a news conference on the East Palestine train derailment.

COLUMBUS, Ohio—

“As far as the administration goes, we’ve made no such comment about there being any action at this point,” said DeWine spokesman Dan Tierney, when asked Monday about possible repercussions against Gen. John C. Harris, Jr., Ohio’s adjutant general, for getting into the altercation with NewsNation reporter Evan Lambert. Tierney said the governor’s office is “reviewing” the situation.
