TRENTON — A nine-year-old girl was shot and killed at Kingsbury Square in Trenton, New Jersey, on Friday.
Mercer County Homicide Task Force is investigating the murder, saying no other victims were reported injured in the shooting. Trenton Police responded to a Shot Spotter activation around 7:30 Friday evening and calls about fights in the area among large groups. When police arrived, they found a large group and a nine-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound.
They transported her to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, then to Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick Hospital.
